Basketball Season....

I have been spending my Thursday nights and Sat. morning/afternoons watching, refing, and running Stake and Region tournaments. It has been fun, kept me busy and a bit sore at times. When they needed a extra player I felt it was my duty to play. Weebles wobble but they don't fall down!!! But they hurt after 3 games in one afternoon!!!

Family Golf Outing

Oct 17-18 we will be traveling to Fillmore for this years first annual Golfing type thing!

Manager Ryan's new hairstyle!! AND the golf tournament

Ryan is doing great! He is one of the managers at the Centerville Firehouse Pizzeria. He has a new hair style. Well he had this for a couple of days. I am gealous I wish I had any hair in the middle of my head? Lucky guy. Anyway Ryan is doing great living on his own, managing at work, and getting ready to start college. I can still beat him at golf though!!

Hey that reminds me we need to have that family golf tournament. Maybe in Tooele? Matt, Eric, Rig, Ryan, Trevor, Georgie and even Brooke you need to give the old guy a break. I need to still win at something!!! Travis and Dave you are also invited... Details to come!!

The Eagles are back in west Farmington. They are incredible to watch, I think we saw at least 8 last night!

Building Bridges

Just in case any of your home teachers failed to give you this month's First Presidency's message may I encourage you to all read it…

President Monson teaches us how to face our challenges and trials in life.

He explains that if we continue to pray, willingly serve, and are obedient we will be on the bridge that was constructed by Our Savior as he faced the ultimate challenge and trial.

The key thing that I know from my experiences is that when you are facing the trials of life the three things that you will least want to do are the same three that we our encouraged to do by our Prophet.

As we face challenges it is important to note that the bridge to get us though the trial we are facing is already built and our willingness to do all we can to stay on that bridge will ultimatly determine the happiness we will enjoy in this life and the blessings we will received after this life.

Well, to the delight of Pennsylvanians everywhere, this year Denny's reclaimed the record with their mammoth 123-pound Main Event Charity Burger! Here's the breakdown: an 80-pound beef patty, a 30-pound bun, 160 slices of cheese, ketchup, mustard, mayo, and—to assuage any nutritional guilt—a pound of lettuce and 12 tomatoes. Outstanding.

My Favorite Time of Year

This is my fovorite time of year, its beautiful, and the lawns stop growing. Hopefully, it will last a little longer than just a weekend this year in Utah.

Time to diet

Well we have been married almost six months.. I am gaining weight! Georgie found this picture as our motivation to loose weight. We will post our progress. That picture is not me..
